1st Day: You will first be able to select a car you would like to drive to the hotel from a catalog that will be presented to you on the plane ride to Colombia. You will be able to use this car the whole time in Colombia, and it will be shipped to your home after the trip. This car will be refueled every time you go back to the hotel and repaired if you need it to be. You will be going on a trip to Colombia. You will be departing from O'hare airport in Illinois and you will be going to Aeropuerto International El Dorado in Bogota, Colombia. You will be flying with American Airlines and you will be traveling first class. You will be leaving O’hare airport at 12 a.m. on March 18, and you will arrive at Bogota Colombia at 8 in the morning. Then you will be driving to your hotel in Cartagena. You will arrive at Hilton resort there and that is where you will be staying for the remainder of the trip, the hotel will include all of the appliances that you need. When you get to the hotel, brunch will be awaiting you and you will have time to unpack and hang out in your hotel room. After the trip you might be a little tired so we have arranged for a private beach right in front of the hotel to be all yours. There are jet skis, dune buggies, along with surf boards, water skis and tubes awaiting for you. After that you will eat dinner around five. You will be going to eat at a restaurant called Restaurante Donjuán Cartagena where you will be eating different varieties of food. You will then go back to the hotel and relax awaiting the next day to come forth.
2nd Day:On the 2nd day you will be served a hotel breakfast in bed. Then you will be able to have some pool time. After the pool you can go to the tennis area of the hotel and you can play a little one on one match or play a whole game with the other guests. After tennis you can go to lunch at Restaurante Club Colombia. After lunch the woman can go to a nail salon called Retro Nails while the men can go to the hotel gym. After that you will be able to go horseback riding. When the horse back riding is over you can go on a bike tour of Bogota. At the end of the tour you will go to a fancy dinner at Matiz a five star restaurant. When the dinner is over you will be going to a mall called Centro Comercial Gran Estacion. When you finish shopping you will go to a Starbucks nearby. When the Starbucks is done you will come back to the hotel for a massage. When the massage is over you will be going to sleep to prepare yourself for the upcoming next few days.
3rd day: When you wake up in the morning you will be having breakfast in bed. If you wake up early you can go for an early morning swim in the pool before you have to go somewhere. Around 1pm, you will be going to tayrona national natural park. Where you can hike out to Cabo San Juan. At the Tayrona national park is a protected area in the northern part of the Caribbean. At around 2 pm you will go to platillos Voladores and have lunch and choice from a wide variety of food and have a great vie. Platillos Voladores offers many different types of furniture at the restaurant. Once you are finished with lunch you will have a chance to walk around and do whatever you want to do, and have some time to go sightseeing. At around 4pm you will go to Salento and the Coffee Triangle. At the Salento you can help make some excellent coffee and watch the sunset while you are helping. Salento has the best views because of the mountain ranges of coffee beans. Salento and the Coffee Triangle give you a chance to get a glimpse of nature and to pick some coffee beans. When you leave the Salento, you will go back to the hotel and get a massage from all that walking (only if you want one). The massage person will offer you water,towels anything that will help you feel relaxed. You massage will take about an hour, and once you are done with massage you will eat at the pizza al forno at the hotel. Pizza al forno is located in las chicas in the hotel and has a great view of the beach. You dinner with include appetizers,drinks,full meals, and a deserts. Your dinner will end at around 6 pm, and you can go back to the hotel or go do something in the city.
4th day: On the 4th day we are going to be having a whole day of surviving in the Amazon. You will wake up at 9:00 a.m. and eat a quick breakfast at the hotel. On your breakfast You will then drive to the Amazon where you will meet with your tour guide for the first part of the day. You will start off by taking a morning trek to stretch out your muscles. You will then have the opportunity to go zip lining from the canopy to the ground level. While zip lining you will be able to see all of the different unique types of animals such as the monkeys, birds, and many other unique animals that only inhabit the Amazon. At around 11 you will be then taken on a boat ride on the Great Amazon river and if you're lucky you won’t get eaten by the piranhas. The boat ride will take you to the part of the amazon where you will be remaining for the rest of the day. When you get to your point the tour guide will leave you. You will have a backpack full of supplies such as a tent, a machete, a small supply of food, matches/flashlight, blankets, first aid kit, radio phones/walkie talkies, and a lot of ant repellent. The whole purpose of this is to survive in the Amazon till around 5 a.m. then the tour people will come and pick you up and you will be taken to the hotel to get some better rest and then you will be ready for the next day at the Andes.
5th day: On the fifth day you will be going to the andes mountains where you will be skiing, hang gliding, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. You will wake up anywhere in between 9:00 and 10:00 so you have time to get ready and eat breakfast so you will be ready for a fun day in the snow. You will drive to an airport where a helicopter will pick you up at 11:00 and bring you to one of the Andes mountain peaks in Nevado del Ruiz. You will then be able to either go to base jumping/skydiving, skiing, hang gliding, or snowmobiling. If you are to go base jumping or skydiving you will have the option of using a parachute or a wing suit. If you have never used either one there will be an instructor that will be flying with you and teaching you all of the basics of flying. If You are going to be skiing, snowmobiling, or snowboarding there will be checkpoints along the way for you to stop at to take a breather. The helicopter will be waiting at the bottom of the peak every time to take you back up whenever you want or so it can take you back. Whenever you want to go back you will be taken to sand dunes where you will have a choice to ride dune buggies, quads, three wheeler, or dirt bikes. After that you will be taken for dinner/lunch at El Bistro which is a restaurant which is near the hotel in Cartagena. You will then go back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day whatever you would like.
6th day: When you wake up in the morning around 8:00-10:00 you will be heading upstairs to the executive lounge on the 10th floor and have Colombian coffee, and breakfast. The executive lounge has table games,free WiFi, a panoramic view of Colombia and the Caribbean sea, and has local newspapers. The executive lounge is a place where you can relax and it includes personalized and upscale service. The executive lounge offers snacks and soft drinks all day if you are hungry for something to eat.
7th: On the final day you will wake up and be taken to El Cafe de la Abadia for breakfast. Then you will go to the national museum for some cool artifacts. After the museum you will be going to Carbon Place for lunch. When lunch is over you will be going to the Presidential Palace. Finally around 6:30 you will be going to dinner at Santo Pecado. After dinner you will go back to the hotel.Then you will have to pack all of your stuff so that you can go to the airport for your trip home. When you finish packing a cab will be outside waiting to take you to the airport for your flight. You will have to make it to the airport at 8:00 pm to make it to your flight at 10:00 pm. That is the end of your trip.
