The first day in Italy was Amazing. Right when I got off the plane I went to the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in Florence, Italy. There was a buffet waiting there with belgian waffles, omelets, and italian frittatas. The fritters were the best part. They were filled with cream and freshly fried. After the brunch, I went to the pool in the hotel and relaxed for the rest of the day. At the pool, I had italian all meat pizza delivered to me and the Italians and I played a game of water polo. At around 7:00 I went to dinner at Fuoco MAtto, which is a five star restaurant in Florence. I saw a bunch of really fat italians there, and jugglers were performing in an open area set up at the restaurant. I wasn’t very hungry so I just got their specially ribeye that was $40. I called the limo driver to pick me back up from the restaurant and drive me back to the hotel. Right when I got into my room I passed out from how tired I was because of the plane ride there and difference in time.
The second day in Italy was probably the shortest of them all. I was so tired that I woke up at 1:00 in the afternoon and made myself breakfast. The hotel had the fridge fully stocked with food and drinks that were covered in my hotel pay plan. I made a Italian style omelet that I learned how to cook from watching the chefs at brunch the other day, that was made with these ingredients http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/italian-omelet. Then I went to the gym inside the hotel and showed the Italians there how americans player basketball. After being at the gym for a couple hours I ate dinner at a restaurant called Salumeria Verdi at 8:00. I got their world famous pinene which is what the restaurant is known for. I was probably the best sandwich I had ever eaten and was a special for only $10. When I got back to the hotel (I drive my lambo everywhere on this trip) I went to my room and watched the Italian news until I fell asleep.
The third day I went sight seeing and woke up to just eat a piece of toast and milk. I then drove to the Florence Cathedral and saw all of the statues around the church. The coolest one was the one of David because of how big it was. The cathedral was the biggest and nicest one I have ever seen. The cathedral is also called cathedral of Saint Mary of the flower, and is over 500 years old. After the cathedral I went back to my room and got Italian ice on the way. I decided to play video games for the rest of the night and had the idea to jet ski in the Mediterranean sea the next day.
The fourth day I decided to move hotels to one on an island called ebla. I went to a hotel called Hotel Mare in Villa Ottone and went straight to the beach right outside of the hotel right as my things were all straightened out. There I rented out a jet ski for $100 for the whole day. Once I got tired of riding the waves, I took a swim and dived in. The water was nice and warm and I swam for about an hour. Then I rode the jet ski back and ate spaghetti at the hotel at around 9:00. Once I got back to my room I took a bath and went to bed to get ready for the next day.
The fifth day I woke up wanting to go back to the water, so I drank a glass of orange juice and got scuba gear ready I met an instructor at the beach at 11:00 and we took a yot out to the reef, where we go out and went about 30 feet under water. I saw sharks, perch, and a huge eel about the size of me. I got so scared that I peed myself and the instructor told me that it would attract the sharks so we had to leave. By the time we went back onto the yot we were so hunger that we ate before we even took our scuba gear off. I had a deli sandwich that was amazing, and had ham, olives, provolone, and garlic on a pizza bread bun. We decided to stay out on the ocean and try to dive again later. We dived one more time and then fell asleep at around 8:00 under the stars.
The sixth day I woke up at 9:30 and had a bottle of water. Then I took a swim around the boat. When I got back on the boat we realized we had no food, so we fished for our lunch. We caught 5 perch, and had such a blast that we decided to stay and fish for the rest of the day. At about 5:30 we headed home and went our separate ways. I was too stuffed from the fish, so I decided to just go to the hotel and play ping pong for the rest of the night and hang at the pool. I went back to the room at about 10:00 and fell asleep.
The last day I woke up at 11:00 and packed up to leave the hotel. I stopped at a sampler pasta place called Via della Vigna, in Florence. It costs $45 to get in and it is all you can eat. I had a gigantic plate of pasta that was stuffed with meat sauce. I hung out with the people at the restaurant and talked to them about Italy and how nice it is. At about 5:00 I headed to the airport, and on the way there I stopped at a gelato place called Cremeria Funivia. I got vanilla, with double chocolate and in my opinion it was the best gelato I have ever had. It was 10 dollars for 2 big scoops, which was reasonable. I got to the airport right on time and ended up meeting up with one of my buddies from grade school on the same plane as me.
